Brushing Overview
Brushed finishing mechanically polishes metal surfaces with a wire brush or abrasive pad to create a directional texture. It removes a thin layer of the surface and produces a matte appearance with fine linear or circular grain.
- Uniform texture:
Brushing creates a visually appealing, directional finish.
- Reduced glare:
The matte texture helps minimize light reflection.
- Surface appearance:
The texture helps conceal fingerprints and minor surface imperfections.
- Material compatibility:
Brushing can be applied to metals including stainless steel, aluminum, and brass.
